Safety at DEQVO

What the platform actually does to keep trips safe — and, just as importantly, what it does not do.

Baseline draft — not yet published
Version 0.1.0

Verified drivers

Drivers submit identity and licence documents before they can go online. Documents are reviewed, expiry dates are tracked, and an account is restricted when a required document lapses.

Trip evidence

Vehicle condition, mileage and fuel or charge are recorded with photos at handover and again at drop-off. Evidence is stored privately and can be compared side by side when something is disputed.

Live trip tracking

While a trip is running, its position updates in the app so the customer can follow the vehicle in real time.

Safety Center

During a trip the Safety Center gives one place for the important actions: share the trip, check in, report a problem, or escalate to DEQVO support.

Trip sharing

A trip can be shared with someone outside the app through a private link. Links can be limited in what they reveal, expire automatically and can be revoked at any time.

Incident reporting

Accidents, breakdowns, damage, harassment and threats can be reported with photos. Reports are timestamped by the server, cannot be edited afterwards and are worked through by the safety team.

Support escalation

Escalating a trip to DEQVO support opens a case that a human operator picks up, with the trip context attached.

Public emergency services

The app can show the correct emergency number for the selected country and let you call it from your phone.

DEQVO does not dispatch police, ambulance or fire services and is not integrated with any emergency agency. Calling an emergency number places a normal call from your own device. In an emergency, always contact the public emergency services first.
